June 25th Kick-off BBQ

Though the storm clouds were threatening, by evening on Thursday it cleared and we were treated to some beautiful weather. Almost 50 people from Saskatoon and area joined us in Kinsman Park for some fellowship, food, and to hear Ryan Bater speak about his vision for the future of the Saskatchewan Liberals and the "Round Our Way" 2009 Summer Tour.

Thanks to some very hard work by our volunteers the night before, the RV was wrapped with its Liberal decals (as you can see on the flickr pictures below) and folks were more than curious to pop and and take a look at our home and office on wheels for the next 6 weeks. It was a great way to start the RV tour as we got ready to hit the road the next morning to start our first leg of the journey down to the south-west corner of the province.
