Province Got a Brand New Flag- June 29th

One of the greatest aspects parts of touring the province is finding little nuggets of history that you never knew about before. While visiting Ponteix on a very hot afternoon we were surprised to find a flag in the Town’s Council Chambers that we had never seen before- but by its appearance was distinctively Saskatchewan. Round-up from the First Four Days - June 29th

As per the tracker in the bottom right of your screen we have so far covered 1474km - and we are just getting started!

Finally having access to a wireless connection for my laptop (from the good people at the Gravelbourg Museum) I'm catching up on some blog posts and e-mails. Since we left Saskatoon early Friday morning we have visited Maple Creek, Cypress Hills Park, Shaunavon, Assinaboia, Thompson Lake Park, and now Gravelbourg. On to Ponteix this afternoon. Pictures and more updates will be coming once we get back up to Saskatoon and North Battleford (respectively) for Canada Day - but it has been a great adventure so far! Read more »
